Reiki is one of the oldest healing systems from Japan.  This ancient healing method uses energy to balance the body, mind and spirit.  It is a subtle energy that comes from higher dimension that is different from the physical world and is not the practitioner’s person energy. The energy comes down from above and enters the top of the practitioners head, flows though the body and out through their hands.  However, the true source of Reiki energy is within that comes from a transcendental part of ourselves that is connected to an infinite supply of healing energy. 

I just love how Reiki is being acknowledged today for its benefits and how it is being used in hospitals as a complementary therapy. Proven studies have shown how it has helped people who suffer from various major and minor ailments from physical to physiological.
